Development and Support of Afghan Women and Children Organization (DSAWCO) in collaboration with Papyrus Theatre group has decided to run the street theatre named “Pari Gul” in order to enhance its programs in legal (juridical) section.

As illiteracy and unawareness of primary rights are the major challenges of Afghan women and besides majority of people do not know which behaviors counted as violence against women, Development and Support of Afghan Women and Children Organization wants to illustrate the challenges in new method and involves public in detecting the encounter violence again the Afghan women.

“Pari Gul” theatre is the story of 14 years old girl who is the victim of early marriage and gets pregnant earlier. Later, she is the other spouse who encounters with violence of woman against woman within the family. “Pari Gul” faces with accusation of adultery and illegitimate relation too. The story of “Pari Gul” is the repetition of every Afghan woman‘s virulent experiences and sorrows. “Pari Gul” competes with her acrimonious destiny.
