The DSAWCO is a non-governmental organization which has activity in different issues related to women and children and one of its main objectives is to maintain justice and access women to their rights. Pertinent to November 25, Universal Day of Violence Prohibition against Women; this organization has launched the program “Enough Violence, We want Justice!” which is consist of a campaign to collect sings for enforcement of Violence Prohibition Law against Women and punishment of the violence perpetrators   which is strongly welcomed by people. This campaign has been launched for the first time in Afghanistan. The signatures which have been collected on 2×8 meter posters are belong to government authorities, civil organizations and people which show more than 3000 signatures so far and the campaign is still being continued. Based on people desire the organization will put forward the collected signatures to one of the three authorities President Office, Parliament or the Supreme Court. We are interested to also obtain supports of the international organizations in this regard and in case of possibility we want to have your support too regarding this campaign since your organization is one of the organizations that work on women rights protection and violation against women.
For the first time in the history of Afghanistan, to combat against injustice and violence against women, more than 3000 signatures have been collected from government authorities and people within 20 days. Now, on closing ceremony of this program, collected signatures gave to responsible agencies such as His Excellency President of Afghanistan, Supreme Court of Afghanistan, Attorney General, Ministry of justice, Ministry of Women Affairs, Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission and UN Women Office.
