Civic education and Community dialogue 12

Based on master plan of counterpart international project in 2016 DSAWCO could implement successfully its civic education program merbachakoot District, Bala Aab
At the beginning 9 main subjects : 1-Brief History of Afghanistan, 2- Democracy, 3- Legislative power 4- Executive power 5- Judiciary power 6- Counter Trafficking in person, 7-Human Rights 8-Election, 9-Civic Society has been expressed.
Participants has emphasized on below subjects:
1- About history of Afghanistan that Afghanistan has rich history
2- Also they have emphasized about democracy, they told democracy is good but it is not implanted in good way in Afghanistan.
3- Also participants added that The judiciary is corrupt in Afghanistan
4- They have emphasized that human right is must needed thing and it should be for all Afghans not for mentioned ethnic or type of people.
5- They have requested that the Civil society should start its activities in the villages
DSAWCO team have responded to their question and suggested them:
1- Indeed Afghanistan has brave people and have rich history.
2- Afghanistan is experiencing first steps of democracy soon people will see the real democracy in Afghanistan.
3- It is fine that judiciary is corrupted in Afg there is hopes that corruption would be removed off soon.
4- The human right contains all people men and women, olds and youths,
5- We as a civil society has plan to do activities in villages as well.

According to our project master plan and agenda, Community Dialogue has been held at Merbachakoot district, bala Aab, home of malek Hanif. Participants discussed their main problems of their village.
Their main five problems have been listed as bellows:
1- Bad Streets and Roads
2- No health Clinic in the village
3- Lack of water for irrigation farming and drinking water.
4- Lack of Electricity for village
5- Creation of educational courses and and stitching for women
Their main problem has been bad roads and streets, at first responsible has been pointed to Ministry of Public works and also they would demand National and International NGOs to solve their problem and people of the village will help physically.
DSAWCO has selected their active members for their advocacy group and they participants have written their petition about their problems and DSAWCO have submitted it to its related office with official letter.
