Civic education and Community dialogue 15

Based on master plan of counterpart international project  ACEP in 2016 DSAWCO could implement successfully its civic education program Kabul Province, Mirbachakot District, Khuwja Geyan Village.
At the beginning 9 main subjects : 1-Brief History of Afghanistan, 2- Democracy, 3- Legislative power 4- Executive power 5- Judiciary power 6- Counter Trafficking in person, 7-Human Rights 8-Election, 9-Civic Society has been expressed.
Participants have emphasized:
1- In reality democracy is really good but  it is not common in Afghanistan
2- Government is no focusing on factories and does not take action.
3- There is too much corruption in our judicial system
4- Parliament representatives are not working properly, only they think of themselves.
5- Human right is the rights are granted by God to the people
DSAWCO Team’s suggestion and respond to participants:
1- Democracy in Afghanistan is experiencing its first steps and we are hopeful for its future.
2- The government has its own negligence but people should defend from their rights.
3- There is corruption is our judicial system and government has taken action against corruption
4- People should vote to those candidates who could prove to work for bitterness of the country.
5- In reality Islam has the best law of Human rights but it is taken from Muslims

According to our project master plan and agenda, Community Dialogue has been held at Mirbacha kot District, Khowaja Geyan Village. Participants discussed their main problems of their village.
Their main five problems have been listed as bellows:
1- University building at district level
2- Working digging and cleaning canal
3- Lack of Expert Doctors at clinics
4- Lack of expert teachers at school
5- Lack of agriculture expert in the disease and spices
Suggestion of people for solving problems:
Their main problem is building university at district level they have said that Ministry of Higher Education is responsible and people of village promised to make available enough land for government to build university
DSAWCO follow up:
DSAWCO have established advocacy group that has five members, and written a petition letter to District governor office
