According to the project plan of ACEP and civil education and social dialogue program of DAWSCO, team have conducted a meeting with six member of advocacy group to make a working plan to address the 3 main problem of Shakardara district including lack of proper road in the district, lack of health care personnel, and lack of cold storages for fruits. The advocacy group have already shared the issues with the district governor. The advocacy group have conducted a meeting with district governor, mayor, head of health care department, and village representative in 23, Aug, 2017. During the course of meeting, the recommendations of advocacy group have been discussed. Based on district governor’s update, the procurement process of road construction project is completed in national procurement agency, and waiting for final signature of president. The health care department head has promised that he will solve the issue of lack of healthcare personnel. District governor also promised that he will meet the CARD-F project top management and request them to build cold storages in the district.
