Kabul province is located in central zone of Afghanistan. Its center is Kabul City which is the capital of the country

The main problems of Kabul residents are lack of standard schools, water, clinics, waste disposal and bad quality roads. The residents suffer intensively from these issues and were looking for a proper way to solve the problems.

According to the saying of many residents of this province, these issues are obstacles to social, economic and clean environmental development in Afghanistan.

Development & Support of Afghan Women & Children Organization (DSAWCO) with support of Counterpart International Organization based on a joint civil program held a 2day seminar under subject of “Civil Education & Social Discussion”. In these 2days seminar, a complete set of information was taught to the participants about human rights, human trafficking, democracy, civil society, and three pillars of government. 30 men and 30 women participants who were civil activists, members of local council, school teachers participated in every program. After holding the social discussion and identifying this issue as the prior issue of the area, in order to address the issue, an advocacy group was formed from the participants. They made a work plan with advocacy representative in advocacy meeting for eradicating these issues.

The advocacy representative of DSAWCO along with 25 members of the Advocacy group held a press conference and through media raised their voice in order to reach the authority’s ears.

After the follow-up of advocacy group and holding press conference, residents of Kabul province are expecting authority officials to take responsibility and reach out to their problems.
